'bout time for another post, here it is,
It's The Blog's 2 Year Anniversary!
A couple days ago, the blog turned 2. I figured it would be a pretty good excuse for a special post. So, I bring to you,
The Challenger Redeye!
(autoblog.com)
While the information is shaky at the moment, I will attempt to report the best I can on this mechanical marvel.
For starters, the Redeye makes 797 horsepower. It makes its power from a differently tuned Demon engine, aided by it's fully functional twin hood scoops, providing passive supercharging effects.
The car puts down its power with help from a widebody kit, helping to give it greater cornering ability, to boot. The tires are also pretty good. The 'Cat wears Pirelli P-Zero's, which were worn by the legendary Ferrari F40 (albeit an older version of them).
On the specs, the Redeye makes more power than an Aventador (797 horsepower as opposed to 740), and costs less than 1/4 the price (~$70,000 as opposed to $400,000).
I am excited for more info on the Redeye, and want to see if it is truly competition for the ZL1 LE and the Cobra 350R.
So, thanks to you, the readers, for keeping this blog going for two years. It's been pretty fun, and I'm looking forward to another two (and more, hopefully).
Do you have any thoughts about cats/cats? What drives you crazy? One post a week so stay tuned!
