Minivans

Some minivans are great. Take the Chrysler Town and Country. It has a big 3.3 liter V6, lots of space, and a nice interior. Lately, minivans have been getting worse and worse. Some don't even have V6's. Minivans are getting extraordinarily expensive, the Honda Odyssey is brushing 30,000! I can get a Challenger and have 3,000 left over for that.
Early minivans were often (quite hilariously) flops. A really good example of this is the Pontiac Trans Sport pictured above. It got the nickname "Dustbuster" because the side profile is similar to the hand-held vacuum cleaner. Why is this good styling Pontiac? Where did you get inspiration? You went down to the Sew-and-Vac didn't you? *Facepalm*
I think that the perfect minivan would be built on an extended entry-level truck chassis, so four wheel drive would be easy to do. It would have heavy duty suspension, so when filled with people the suspension can take it. The Perfect Minivan would also have a V8 and a 5 speed auto for comfort.
