The Dodge Demon!

Here is the long awaited Dodge Demon post! Quite simply, it is really red and loud. And does wheelies. And is the fastest production car in the world. And has the largest functional hood scoop ever fitted to a production car. I could carry on!
The infernal Demon apparently has 840 horsepower. People have dyno'ed them and found that they produce a whopping 1,024 hp! All this horsepower is unlocked by putting it in Drag Mode, and Race Mode 3. You can read more about it here: http://jalopnik.com/.
All this power is fed through a drag-spec automatic transmission that is transbrake equipped! The transmission sends this power to two huge Nitto drag tires, allowing it to WHEELIE stock, and do magnificent burnouts like the one you see above.
The Hellcat engine has been nearly completely rebuilt. It has new piston heads, new connecting rods, and a really cool demon emblem on the new 2.7 liter supercharger! A regular sedan probably has a 2.5 liter naturally aspirated engine. The Demon's supercharger has a higher displacement than an entire Mitsubishi Evo engine!
People are upset that the NHRA banned it from drag racing. The NHRA banned the Demon stock, because it goes fast enough to need a racing license and a rollcage.
